Our new apartment

We've finally moved into our new apartment!  We can finally unpack everything and start to have some sort of normal routine to our lives again!

The first thing I found when we moved in - the place was totally empty.  Apparently its normal in Canada to take the curtains, the shower curtain, even the oven trays!  So curtains and a shower curtain quickly got a place on the shopping list!

When you first walk in, to the left is a storage "cupboard" which is basically big enough to use as a small bedroom really!  As you can see, we've designated this area as our 'wet' area for jackets and snow boots, plus the girls skating bags.



Next to the storage area, is the bathroom, laundry and linen cupboard.

From the entrance way, it leads directly into the lounge -

As you can see, we're lacking a bit in the furniture!  But we have a rug!!

The girls room is off to the left from the lounge

And my room is off to the right from the lounge

The door is tucked away behind that wall, so its almost like I have a little mini entrance way of my own!

The dining room is directly to your right as you come through the main door

We don't have a table yet - but we do have a handy dandy emily who loves building kitset furniture!

Excuse all the mess - so many cupboards I don't know what to do with them all!!

My room - complete with a walk in robe with a light and built in shelves!

And the girls have a huge double wardrobe to share between them (they're messy unpackers!)

So thats a small glimpse of our new digs!  Will post some more pics when we get some furniture in here!
